Welcome to the Dryden Yacht Club

Racing at DYC

This section will contain information and results for the variety of racing that happens at DYC throughout the season.  All sailors are encouraged to participate in some aspect of racing, as it develops fundamental skills and makes you more familiar with the details of your boat.  If you simply want to experience sailboat racing, the club policy is to never leave anyone on shore, so just come on out to a race and you'll enjoy a spot on an experienced crew's boat!

A brief summary of the season's racing includes the following:

Wednesday Night Race Series - 7pm start thru summer, earlier start in early fall

Spring & Fall Frostbite Race - Saturdays in May and September... race  normally starts at noon

SOBIR - Sail our Boats in Races!   Annual Weekend Regatta

Coconut Cup - celebrate tropical sailing!

Chicks at the Helm - The Women take over!

SingleHanded Race - pretty self explanatory

Long Distance Race - Sail the length of Wabigoon...
